Dog kennels, cages for birds, hamsters and other small animals
Inspection
Look in crevices and gaps, and under flooring. Bed bugs might hide in the bottom of bird
cages and in small mammal cages.
Preferred Control Method
Hand wash
Use a hose outside or a strong stream of water and soap in a bathtub or shower to wash the cage. (Learn More about Hand wash)

Isolation

Vacuum

Heat
Hair dryer or space heater. A hair dryer can be used to flush bed bugs out of tubes or
